Scope of works:

• Erection of cradle access
• Survey
• Removal of defective areas of concrete
• Concrete repairs to exterior columns, beams and surface cracks
• Application of Anti-Carbonation Coatings to all concrete surfaces

About the project:

Faced with concrete deterioration and cracking, the exterior fabric of a school in Yorkshire was in need of a proven and reliable method of repair and refurbishment.

The project posed numerous challenges, but the key priority was to deliver the project without impacting on the normal working of the school. This was successfully achieved by offering a flexible approach to working hours and noise control and through continual liaison with all parties involved.

Safety planning was critical to enable safe uninterrupted access to the school for students and staff. This proactive approach resulting in positive feedback from the School Head.
